Carrefour Les Cosmétiques Gommage & Mask (peeling& Mask 2 in 1) Bargain Alert

Hi dolls

A few weeks ago I had purchased a peeling and mask 2 in 1 from my local carrefour marinopoulos supermarket, because I was in desperate need for a peeling. It is for 'young' combination to oily skin.
For 2,69 Euro you can't go wrong.

It is such a great product! The peeling particles are actually enough to really exfoliate the skin well and it also leaves the skin very  very clean and moisturized. I use this after cleaning off the make up with remover + washing gel.
If you use it as a peeling it's quite nice, but actually letting it dry is even more effective.

The smell of the product is very pleasant and not too strong.

All over I am really happy with it.

Do you buy supermarket brand personal care items? If so what products can you recommend?

Kiss Kiss Automatic Eye pencil review +Swatches

Hi dolls

I needed a new eyepencil and I thought why shouldn't I try the Kiss Kiss pencil, because it doesn't need to be sharpened and the price of 2 euro something was quite fair.
Little did I know.......

Packaging: The eyepencil comes in a retractable, black and silver plastic packaging. The pencil's cap won't stay on at all.You may use it for 36 months.

The product: Once you twist up the pencil you will see a very waxy, sticky pen, that smells like play-doh.

My 2 cents: As you can see from the swatches it applies very uneven and the pen seems to randomly loose crumbs and chunks. The texture is way to waxy.
Getting it on the waterline is quite difficult, because your waterline is wet by nature and this waxy mess simply won't stick to it.
Drying your waterline with a q-tip is the only solution.
Once you managed to get something on your waterline, you will have to clean up all the chunks X_X.
For me this is a true fail product, because it makes such a mess.
It is okay to line your lashline, but again the chunky horror will get you.......

Pros:
-Retractable
-doesn't raccoon

Cons:
-smells awfully
-doesn't stick to the waterline
-crumbles
-the cap always comes off (this is what pisses me off the most)

Conclusion : Sheer and utter FAIL Product.........Any pencil is better than this.I will probably melt it and add a cream eyeshadow to it,so it can at least serve as a eyeshadow base.I am mad that I didn't notice the chunks when I swatched it in the store.

Lovie Lipstick Swatches + Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipstick dupe

Hi dolls

Today was such a huge Fail.*LOL* Nearly everything went wrong, but when I came home I had a gift waiting for me on my desk. Two beautiful Lovie Lipsticks from my partner.Awwwwww <3
It's quite sweet because he knew I dropped the whole lipstick-box and quite a few ones either broke off or the cheap plastic shattered and ruined the lipstick.
The ones that I could save are now depotted and ready to be used again.

The colors are: No.28 and No.3
Number 28 is a beautiful shimmery berry-fuchsia tone with great lasting power and opaqueness.Thank god the shimmer is very fine and doesn't settle into the fine lines.

Number 3 is a great dupe for Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipstick. The only difference is that the lovie lipstick has a more glossy finish. I love this color.

The swatches were done after removing my make up,so don't bother if the application is a little messy.

Partners can be sooo awesome ! <3

New Lovie Product swatches (Blusher and eyeshadow duo_

Hi dolls

I took my new products for a little trip to the beach,so I can take a few cool pictures.Well the sea was kind of wild today,so my initial idea to put them in the wet sand was discarded.
I love the soft peachy blush very much, because it gives you a very fresh look without it being obvious that you wear blush. The pink blush is just cool as hell and the pigmentation is almost scarily good.

What is your favorite blush color right now??

Beauty Line Cosmetics waterproof pen eyeliner review

Hi dolls

I have purchased this eyeliner pen a few days ago because I had swatched it many times in the store and it always was clear, that this stuff is waterproof to the fullest. And I had 2 eyeliner pens with felt tip from essence.
The day I ran out of the sun club eyeliner pen I wanted to go and buy the beauty Line cosmetics one.
Obviously I did "D

Packaging: A sleek black pan, with a silver ring,a very very airtight cap.You can use the product for 9 months after opening.

My 2 cents: Finally a black felt tip pen that you can layer! The formula dries pretty rapidly and it is very waterproof, but sadly the very tip of the pen doesn't draw pretty black lines and in the end I will snip off that 0,5 millimeter. But it's pretty convenient to quickly line your eyes. For eyeliner art it's pretty useless.
I'm very picky with eyeliners.....I bet you can tell :D
You should store eyeliner pens with felt tip upside down,so the tip is always wet.

Pro:
-very black
-seriously water proof
-airtight cap that will prevent drying out
-cheap (3,50)
-No scent
-dries quickly

Con:
-useless for eyeliner art
-the very end of the tip doesn't draw black lines

Conclusion:
It is not a holy grail product, but it is convenient for a quick and accurate eyeliner line with wing,so I will probably repurchase if there is nothing better in the same price range.

Happy collective Haul

Hi dolls

Over the last few weeks I have accumulated some things that I purchased and got in the mail. The highlight of the package was the perfume.
Narciso Rodriguez Essence is a perfume that I adore like I haven't adored another perfume.....I went to the beauty shop just to sniff on it,knowing that it will never be mine, because it's expensive like hell.So when the duped knock-off version of the perfume arrived in the mail I completely freaked out.It smells just like the real thing,so yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. In the same package there were also some lovie eyeshadow palettes,a bunch of duo eyeshadows and blushers, which I just send to a fellow blogger for a product swap.
And since some new eye products arrived in the beauty shop,I purchased a waterproof eyeliner pen,a felt tip eyeliner and a sharpener, since my old one is totally lousy.
The essence eyeshadow is a hamster repurchase. It has been discontinued for quite a while, but our local beauty store still sells it,so I took the very last one.I have seven of these now, because I never want to run out of this black.
There will be a review of the products soon :)

Ohhh that perfume! OMG Oh my god please help me.....I am rarely that crazy about a product.I shall find out where to get these knock-offs.By the way: For a knock-off the perfume is really amazing and doesn't wear off after 1 hour.

FTC:Some of the products were send to me for free. The review will not be influenced in any way by the free products, because I am honest and I don't believe in 'fixed' reviews.

Dupe Alert (Mac cleanse off oil)

Hi dolls

Today was grocery shopping day and I was quite happy to see a new les cosmetiques product at the carrefour supermarket.A cleansing oil.....
For 2,67 Euro it was wort a try..So I slapped on every waterproof product I have, waited a few minutes and removed the make up very effortless and quick.
The oil did a great job and it reminds me of mac cleanse off oil very much.
Mac cleanse off oil costs about 21 $ for 150 ml and the Les cosmetiques one costs 2,67 Euros for 200 ml.
What a bargain!!! Tomorrow I'll stock up on this!
So if you live in a country with a carrefour supermarket, check out the "Huile demaquillante"

New lovely Lovie Palette

Hi dolls

Who can say no to a palette on sale? 99 cent for 5 eyeshadows that's all I have to say.It was on sale because of a ripped sticker on the back of the palette.

You can never have enough frosty white/gray/black shadows!
Plus the palette has a brownish gray that is quite unique and I don't have any color like that in my collection.

This was a true bargain that satisfied me!

The next day I wanted to purchase the lime green palette but then I realized that I have about 20 shades of lime green. So I spend the 99 cent on cat treats.

What kind of bargain satisfies you the most?

Much Love and Huggies for you all <3

Greek Cosmetics tip: Carrefour

Hi dolls,

I recently have discovered a new holy grail product: The Agir Carrefour Bio cold cream. We purchased this product for our chinchilla because he had very very dry spots on his feet and the vet told us to buy any perfume free baby moisturizer.Sadly all the baby moisturizers didn't sink into his skin.
So while we were at the supermarket my partner brought me this tube of cold cream:" It's organic, perfume free and cheap" It has organic karite butter, sunflower seed oil and honey.Plus it is free of Paraffinum Liquidum, which I try to avoid :)
Okay for 2 euros it will be a great bargain, and if it doesn't work I could still use it for my hands.
This cream gets absorbed by the skin so quickly ,leaving it moisturized.
It worked for our Chinchilla and his chapped feet were history withing 1 week.
For some weird reason the cream ended up in my purse and some days ago we were outside and my under eye area was really dry because of the extreme sun.
So I just applied the cream and it was amazing. It dries to a matte finish, doesn't irritate the skin and it really provides major moisture. From this day on that cold cream has become my favorite cream for face and eyes.
I really start to enjoy the organic personal care line from carrefour, they really made an effort!

There are several other countries that have carrefour supermarkets,so keep your eyes open :)

HOLY GRAIL!!

Apivita 3 in 1 cleansing tonic make up remover review

Hi dolls

I got this product from a magazine because I am really into the Apivita cleansing stuff .Sadly this product didn't wow me like the other products from their cleansing range.
Packaging: The Apivita 3 in 1 comes in a handy little silver squeezy tube. All ingredients are listed. There are 50 ml/1.7 fl.oz of product and you may use it up to six months.

The product: A very lightweight cream with a not noticeable scent, which really sinks quickly into the skin.

My 2 cents: I tried to remove my make up with this cream, but sadly the waterproof products don't come off easily with this. The skin in the outer corners of my eyes got irritated from trying to rub off the eyeliner art.
Even the foundation and concealer were a bit hard to get off.
The next time I removed my make up normally ,then I used the Apivita 3 in 1 cleanser to get rid of all the residue.
I don't feel or see any toning properties with this product. And even after wiping my face with the product and a cotton bud, there is still dirt left in my pores.

Pro:
-99% Natural ingredients
-water is replaced with green tea infusion
Con:
-Doesn't remove waterproof make up or heavy duty primers
-Not very toning or moisturizing

Conclusion:
-I will use this tube up,and won't even think about a repurchase, because this doesn't do anything for me.

Lovely Lovie Haul

Hi dolls,

Yesterday I though I would spoil myself by investing my 4 euros change into nail polish instead of ice cream.
Best decision ever, because nail polish doesn't have calories and it lasts way longer than an ice cream.
The lovie counter had a lot of new arrivals and I was very excited to pick out new colors.
At the moment Lovie is my favorite nail polish brand, because the pigmentation is so great in most of their polishes.
Here are the colors I bought:
-Number 62,which is a classic nude pink perfect for nail art backgrounds
-Number 5,which is a very dark blue.I know it looks black on the photo, but it actually is a very dark blue.
-Number 33,which is also a very classic color.Pearl white. It will be great for formal events
-Number 22,which is the brightest shade of neon pink I have ever seen. This color sadly doesn't show up that well on camera.

I am very pleased with those babies, especially because of the price: 1 Euro per polish!

Huggies and have a wonderful day dolls!

May Favorites

Hi dolls

Here are my May favorites, which I really liked this month.
-Apivita Creamy Face & Eye Foam cleanser :This stuff is great for those lazy days where you just wanna quickly remove your make up without using thousand different products.Paired with a microfiber cloth this product really does an amazing job even on heavy duty eyeliner art.
-Essence stay all day concealer : I like this product so much because the texture is perfect for my under eye area, because the expression lines under my eye tend to 'eat' the other concealers and I end up with the granny look.
-Essence stay with me lipgloss: How did I manage to finish a whole tube of lipgloss?? It's almost empty, but I already have replacement*phew* The staying power is sooo great and the color 03 candy bar is divine
-Essence Better than Gel Nails Top Sealer : Holy grail......!!!!!!!
-Korres Mango Butter Lipstick: I have the color 45 coral and I love it especially with a dramatic eye look. It's quite sheer, but sooo moisturizing!
What are your favorite products this month?

Repurchase Haul+Magazine Bargain

Hi dolls,
I ran out of quite a few things which had to be re-purchased:
-Essence lash& brow gel :It's not a holy grail, but it does it's job quite good.
-Essence fancy lashes: I frequently buy those, especially when the card board package (a.k.a the scary face) is damaged or missing, because they give you 15-50% off.
-Beauty Line Cosmetics white matte eyeshadow : No.100.It's cheap and it's great.I use it to press my white gothic powder, blending, highlighting and brightening of foundations.

Later I went to get some cigarettes and the Greek Cosmopolitan caught my eye, because it had a Apivita 3 in 1 cleansing milk Face&Eye Cleansing-Tonic-Make up remover

That's it  dolls!

Lovie Eyeshadow ....My new favorite blushes

Hi dolls

I have raved a lot about Lovie Cosmetics, because their products are cheaper than essence products and they have such a great pigmentation.
And 1 Euro for an eyeshadow duo is not bad at all!
The pink duo eyeshadow is my go-to pink for dramatic eye-looks and as you can see,it has a huge dent already. It makes a great blush too, especially on those days when I wear only foundation+concealer+mascara.

I carried the peach-bronze duo in my purse for a while and I kind of ignored it until the day I had to do a formal make up with the few things I carry in my purse.
There was no blush in my purse,so I took the peach colored eyeshadow and used it as a blush. And that night everybody asked what blush I am wearing.
Back at home I finally had a proper mirror to check out the color.
Amazing blush color!!It gives you such a healthy, youthful flush of color without being overwhelming.
The bronzy color also works great as a blush and if you apply it with a very fluffy brush it doesn't pick up too much shimmer particles.

Is there any eyeshadow you use as a blush??Or am I the only weirdo who does that *Lol*

Swirly Swirl Nail Art Design

Hi dolls,

Just now I was planning to have a bit of relaxation and then I remembered that my nails weren't finished yet.My nails were already painted in fuchsia color, which had chipped a bit.First I did a green french tip and then I applied some blue/purple duochrome, which is more of a top coat.So I went with a 'safe' pattern that I can almost draw with my eyes shut.Tried the new Lovie polish which is super pigmented, which I totally did not expect. The swirls are just one coat,so yay that is really a pleasant surprise.
Given the fact that this was a rather quick nail art session,I am happy with the result. What do you think?

Have a great Saturday :)

Apivita Body Nourish Bath& Shower Gel Review

Hi dolls.

I had purchased the Apivita Body Nourish (almond lavender) as a gift in a Greek Magazine and usually shower gel doesn't excite   me at all,but this one really  made me change my mind.

Packaging: The product comes in the classical brown apivita plastic bottle made from plastic. The cap is black and has the company's logo imprinted on the top.You may use the product for 12 months and it contains 200 ml/6.8 fl oz.

The product:Apivita Body Nourish is SLES,Paraben,Silicone,Propylene Glycol, mineral oil and Ethanolamine free (Yay).96% Natural ingredients, contains Saponaria as a mild cleansing agent, almond and lavender oil for hydration and nourishment, lavender and neroli essential oil for a stress relieving effect. The product itself is a white gel, with an amazing smell that foams up really well.

What it promises: "Cleanse effectively without causing irritations, hydration and nourishment of the skin, stress relief"

My 2 cents:First of all the smell is amazing and just that makes you feel great. As I said,I never got excited about a shower gel,but this baby changed my mind.Usually I have to apply a lot of moisturizer after showering/taking a bath, because the skin on my body tends to get dry and flaky. So after trying the gel for the first time I got out of the shower, dried my skin and I was reaching for my moisturizer, but then I had a little "Wtf-Moment".Did I apply my moisturizer already?
Surprisingly the skin was feeling well moisturized, firm and it looked better.
The next day it was even better.
Maybe it is because I used supermarket shower gels all my life, but this product made a huuuuuge difference.
Well the stress relief-property doesn't really work for me,but only the way it moisturizes the skin is enough to become a huge body nourish-fan.

Pro:
-Great scent
-cleanses well
-amazing moisturizing properties
-better looking skin after 1 use
-great ingredients
-olive oil (<3 olive oil)

Con:
-300 ml retail for 12,20 Euro

Conclusion:
Thank god I bought another magazine with this amazing gift.Love Love Love this product.I had never experienced anything like this shower gel.My skin loves it.

Do you own any apivita bath/shower products,if so how do you like them?

Apivita Creamy face &eye foam cleaner and tonic lotion for normal/dry skin review

Hi Beauties

A while ago I found those two Apivita Products in a Magazine and I had to try them, because I looove foamy cleansers, especially when they are suitable for the eye area.Let's start the review with the face& eye cleaner.

Packaging: Since this product is a sample size,it comes in a little brown plastic bottle with a black screw lid. There is no dispenser to it.The cleanser contains 75 ml/ 2.55 fl.oz and you can use it for 12 months.

The product:I like the fact that the cleanser has a rich creamy texture and a very natural scent. It is mineral oil,SLES-SLS,Propylene Glycol free and the water is replaced with organic green tea infusion. The cleanser's formula is a No-Tear formula which is a huge plus for people with sensitive eyes. And it is 93% Natural

My 2 cents:
First I used this product after removing my make up,just to remove the mascara residue that builds up on the base of the lashes sometimes. And it cleansed really well.
One late night I was sooo tired and bored to remove my make up,so I took a microfiber cloth, hot water and the cleanser and I was amazed! All my waterproof eyeliner, mascara, concealer came off really really easy, without rubbing.
And my face felt really clean, without feeling dehydrated or dry.I love the fact that there is olive oil, green tea and lavender in the product, because especially olive oil and green tea are a big part of my daily beauty routine.

Pro:
-Removes waterproof make up
-doesn't burn in the eyes
-pleasant smell
-plenty of foam
-great ingredients

Con:
-Nothing

Conclusion:
I am really really thinking about buying a full sized cleanser, because this product enables me to skip 2 steps of make up removal and this means I can crawl into my bed 5 minutes earlier.
The cleansing ability of this stuff is amazing.I love everything about it.

Now let's review the toner with honey and orange!

Packaging: The same as the cleanser
The Product:The tonic lotion is also free of all the 'bad stuff' as mentioned in the cleanser description and it is a clear liquid with a very 'clean' smell.
I think I kind of smell chamomile and orange peel. And it is 97% natural

My 2 cents:
I was never lucky to find a toner, that suits my needs. So I kept using DIY toners with green tea, apple cider vinegar or rose water.
So after cleansing my face,I used the toner and it felt a bit too harsh the first time I used it.
But I think I went a bit over the top with the rubbing.
The next night I used more product and less rubbing which was a very good decision.
My pores absorbed the product and my face felt clean,re-energized,soft and firm.

Now I use the toner only in the morning and it helps to reduce the puffiness and it gives me a clean canvas to apply moisturizer, primer and foundation.

Pro:
-Great Ingredients
-Cleansing ability
-Nourishes
-Mattifies
-great morning routine product

Con:
-Can be harsh on the skin, when used in rubbing motions

Conclusion:
It's  a good product, but I prefer my DIY toner, because it serves my needs.
I will finish the bottle though, because it is a really nice toner

A new lovely Lovie Cosmetics Palette

Hi hunhuns <3

After having a streak of bad luck with ordering Sleek Palettes,I was sooo frustrated.
Either it is the sloppiness of the postal service or the mail man was doing stunts, but two times the sleek palettes arrived with broken or shattered shadows.
So while I was being a complete mope I went to the supermarket to buy some stuff for our new years party,I went by the make up counter. And there in a little box I saw the new arrivals of Lovie Palettes.
The purple shade caught my eye, because I was looking for a purple with a fuchsia under tone.
Of course this baby went home with me.
The first swatches were a success! Yay!Just the photo turned out a bit crappy and has a yellow tint to it.

I had done a review on my other lovie palettes. Click Here to check it out.

The purple is to die for! And the shimmery pink on the very right side makes such a great highlight color.

Overall a great bargain for 2,55 Euro

Beauty Line Cosmetics Compact Blush review

Hi Beauties <3
How are you all doing??

10 years I was looking for the perfect blush. And most of the blushes were either loaded with shimmer or the color pay off was bad. While walking through the beauty store here,I passed the beauty line cosmetics isle and saw that they brought blushes.I swatched my way through the amazing color range and at the end the red-ish one went home with me.

Packaging: The compact blush comes in a clear plastic pot with a lid.On the bottom there is a huge sticker from the distributor Cream Team ΕΠΕ.The product contains 9 gr and you can use it up to 18 months. And the beautiful color is called no. 011

The Product: Fortunately the blush is very finely milled and the pigmentation is amazing. There is no chalkiness or crumbling with this bad boy!Although it is lightly perfumed, the scent disappears within 5 minutes and it is not a disturbing scent at all.It is a mix of some powdery smell with a hint of floral laundry smell.I thought it wouldn't last very long, but it adheres so well to the skin.
In the beginning I was seriously worried about the blush not being blend-able,but it is blendable with almost any kind of brush. The fact that the blush has a matte finish is quite cool, because usually cheaper blushes all have shimmers in them.

Pro:
-Great Pigmentation ( a tiny bit goes a long way)
-nice color range
-finely milled
-no shimmer
-long-lasting
-convenient package
-blends perfectly

Con:
-Perfumed
-No ingredients listed
-packaging slightly scratched

Conclusion:
I have found the blush that works for me.Believe me,a Goth shouldn't wear shimmer blush on white powder.I hope I will be able to finish the product within 18 months, because you only need to dip the brush inside the products and you have enough for both of your cheeks. It is buildable, blendable and I am definitely going to buy another one, once mine is empty. The 3 Euros are well invested in that blush <3

The only sad thing about the company is,that they don't answer their emails.I have written them 3 or 4 times now,but sadly no answer.
But hey, their products are amazing :)
