Today is a special occasion,because this is the 1000th post !!!! *throws confetti *

This blog really is 'my own little place of things I love'
But what makes this blog so special are the people who came and gave it a life of it's own.
I really wanted to take a minute to thank you all for just being awesome people!
Every morning the first thing I do is to check the comments,and honestly it's better than a cup of tea!The feedback you guys give me is such an amazing thing,especially in the morning.
I aprechiate every comment,positive or negative because it's just good to know what you people are thinking.
There were comments that made me laugh soooo hard and there were comments that touched me.

We had spicy discussions,periods of tragedy and we went through lots of products together.
What a ride! And this ride hasn't finished yet.

Stealing is a crime!

Hi dolls

I came across a blog which is rather sickening! A blog consisting of stolen images only and a whole bunch of lies.

Even my crappy flower nail art was stolen by this person.She even has the balls to steal pictures of famous nail art bloggers/youtubers.
I mean WTF is this?????

Feel free to have a look at that crappy crappy blog.

I never wanted to use my nail art to scratch out somebodies eyes that badly.This is how furious I am.
Some nail artists spend hours to create their designs,so why can't this thief-blogger just respect the time and effort somebody puts into a design???????
Is it so hard to add the source of an image????? Or at least ask for permission????
I am beyond mad right now and I demand that my picture (even if it is crappy) to be removed from that pile of stolen goods and stinky lies.

Oops I think I'm in trouble

Hi dolls

Where should I start?? Yesterday something pretty scary happened.I was sitting on a chair and when I got up my knee made this weird noise.*crack* *clack* When I looked down on my knee I noticed a huge bump on it's left side.Trying to step on my foot was not possible......Then I noticed my patella (knee cap) had just dislocated.
Great! So fucking great.
In November I had a knee surgery planned,because my hypermobility syndrome and chondropathy paired with excessive ballet had pretty much ruined my knees.
The pain of broken bones was nothing compared to that kind of pain and feeling of helplessness.

Thankfully it could be re-located. But until November I just have to 'hang in there' and make sure to always have the knee cap secured.

But yeah it sucks a bit.
Making the decision not to be miserable anymore was probably right,so tomorrow the blog will be back to normal,although I still have to figure out how to cook with  crutches XD But I have done one-legged cooking before.


I though I'd let you know dolls :)
But being in front of the computer all day has a good side too: I discovered tons of new blogs

Essence will change their product range....

Hi dolls

Essence changes their product range and I am both happy and sad.
Sad,because my Holy grail the waterproof liquid eyeliner will leave the assortment.But thankfully I live in Greece which means,that the new products will not arrive that soon and old products will still be available.Hamstering is the keyword,because the new eyeliner won't have a brush tip.
But the rest of the products will be very funnnnnnnnnnnnn

There are still good people!

Hi dolls

Yesterday my beach trip wasn't that nice! Our mind was occupied with thoughts that can ruin a day,and then on the way back our car broke down.Because Greek national roads are not safe,police came and brought a tow truck and they brought our car to the next exit.While calling the insurance for help they told us we have to wait at least for 1 1/2 hours.
Okay,not very nice,but what can you do?
So we waited in the blazing sun in the middle of nowhere.......
Suddenly we figured out the problem that our car had,but we didn't have the tools to fix it.
Luckily a man and a child walked by and asked if we need help: YeS!!!! He brought us the tool we needed and we could fix the problem quite quickly.
People don't help these days,but we were so lucky.
And to thank this guy I promised him I would put his solar energy company banner on my blog.
He saved us from waiting and he saved us from paying a load of money to the insurance company for the tow truck that would take us home.

The tag issue

Hi dolls

Right now I have 7 tags/awards on my to-do list and to tell you the truth I don't feel like doing them.
Tags consume a lot of time,because most of them require to tag/link other people...a lot of other people,which can easily eat up 45 minutes.
And blogging shouldn't be a chore!!! If I feel that I HAVE to do a post,it's not fun at all and blogging with no fun is not my cup of tea.

And to be honest,Tags and Awards are pretty much the same : Thank the person that tagged you,share random facts and link back to 5-20 blogs.
No sorry,not gonna do that anymore.
I rather spend the time that a tag consumes with a real life chore :)

Some of you might now think that I am a complete snotty snob biotch ,but I prefer to fill my blog with things I love and have a passion for.

New design

I changed some major things in the design.Looking at the same ol' blog was too boring,so I freshened it up a bit.

Images that are not pretty........

Hi dolls,


We spend all day at the house to get a few steps closer to moving back in.
The mold on the walls and ceilings is dead,but the stupid water even got in our storage closets and the mold there was bad.But thank god for chemicals,which killed the mold and it's awful smell quickly.

And the handy man will bring the material he needs to build and isolate the roof  to the house this weekend.
This means he will start soon,because the weather seems to be stable.
Funnily while we were driving to our house the radio played the song "Coming Home" from Puff Daddy/P.Diddy
And as much as I dislike the song,it brought major tears into my eyes.


We even thought about staying at the house despite the fact that the electricity is still wet.But that was a stupid idea......a product of wishful thinking,homesickness and the fact that the human being needs a long time to realize how bad it really is.

Once the roof is fixed,the cables can dry and I can finally paint the house.

It's really emotional,because we really miss home.
Even when I took a picture for a review I started tearing up,because the place we are currently staying at is making me sad by all means.
The picture was so perfect compared to the pictures I am  taking here in Athens....and most importantly it felt so good to be back at my balcony.

But I decided that all the crying and complaining doesn't bring me any further.So I just picked up my cleaning gear and made the bathroom look like a bathroom again.

So here are some pictures

One thing is for sure:
Giving up and drowning in self pity is lame!
With every tragedy we learn things and we grow.

500 posts.OMG I am a spammer

Hi guys!

Wow 500 posts!That is a lot.There is certainly a lot of cooking going on here.Well it is difficult for me to stick to one subject,so I added beauty stuff and also some tips followed by some personal stuff.
Hey,we are in Blogger wonderland here.Peter Pan doesn't want to grow up and I just don't want to stick to one topic.
Blogging has really changed a lot in a positive way,and you can't imagine how grateful I am for that.


All you followers and readers are such lovely people with humor and the amazing talent to put a smile on my face.

First of all I am sorry,that I couldn't post any recipes the last days/weeks.
Unfortunately I cooked a lot of yummy stuff.Especially for x-mas,but my camera was not working properly.

So in the next days I will do a lot of new stuff:
-Product reviews of affordable make up/beauty products
-Household tips
-Cooking (of course!!!!!)
-Photography (with a brandnew OLYMPUS fe-26 12 megapixel (thx baby!)
