Savory pie (Or what to do with dough leftovers)


When baking bread or pizza,you sometimes have dough leftovers.And throwing them away is not an option in my kitchen.

If you don't have leftovers,you can do a normal size pie with pizza dough or even puff pastry.

You need:

enough dough to line your oven wear dish. (I used the dough from my dark German bread)

1 egg

60 gr American white cheese

1 spring onion (sliced)

1/2 bell pepper (diced)

(any veggie that goes on pizza can be used)

some grated parmesan (4-5 tablespoons)

20 ml cream


In a blender combine the egg,american cheese,parmesan and the cream until smooth.Season

Butter a small oven wear dish and spread the dough inside and pull it up a little.Place your veggies in the crust,pour the mix inside the crust and leave about 1 finger free space,so the filling can rise.

Bake at high temperature until golden brown.
