Two colored apple cake with peanuts

I couldn't just sit around and wait for the day to be over.
So I went to the kitchen to conduct an experiment again.I have already gobbled down two slices of the result, which means that it was good.
It is a very autumn-y cake with infused apples, caramelized peanuts and a chocolate glaze.

For the cake you will need:
200 gr flour
150 gr soft butter or margarine
150 gr sugar
50 gr corn starch or instant vanilla pudding powder
3 eggs
25 gr cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
100 ml milk

For the caramelized peanuts:
150 gr peanuts (put in blender and give 2-3 impulses so they are roughly chopped)
50 gr icing sugar
1 tablespoon water

 For the apple filling
2 apples ,don't use sour green apples (peeled, diced)
3 tablespoons cola
70 gr sugar
ground : cinnamon, clove, ginger (a good dash of each)

For the glaze:
8 tablespoons icing sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2-3 tablespoons of water

Mix the ingredients(except of the cocoa powder) for the cake together until you have a smooth, not too runny dough.Use a round cake mold and line it with non stick baking paper.Fill in half of the dough.Add the cocoa powder to the dough left in your dough bowl and pour it on top of the white dough.
Bring the apple filling ingredients to a boil in a small pot and boil at high temperature for 5 minutes.Strain the apples so the cake won't get too mushy.Randomly place the apples on the cake and push a few inside the cake. This will keep the cake extremely moist.
Now you need to caramelize the peanuts.Put them in a non stick pan with no oil (!!!!) and toast them on medium high heat for 20 seconds.Add the icing sugar and let it melt.Add the water and stir well.
Once the water has evaporated and the peanuts are becoming sticky, quickly spread them on top of the cake.
Bake for 20-25 min on medium high to high temperature (190 degree celsius)
Take out the cake, but don't switch off the oven yet.

Now you will need to make the glaze: Mix the ingredients and generously brush on the cake and put the cake back in the oven for 1-2 minutes.

Thats' it.
Yummy,chocolate-y,moist cake with a hint of tartness from the apples and the crunch of the cocoa glaze mixed with the caramelized peanuts <3

Do you have any wishes for the next cake/pie? Let me know :)
