The naked truth

Hi dolls

Lately I have been doing a lot of serious thinking about my relationship with make up.Some people won't leave the house unless they wear make up.Am I one of those people??? Do I need make up to feel pretty???
Is make up a part of me???Does my partner think I am ugly with no make up????
NO!
Hell NO!

Make up is just an accessory for me.Yes of course I can cover flaws with it and look pretty,
I never want to reach a point where I feel ugly/low self esteem without make up.
Almost everybody has dark circles and puffy eyes when they wake up and almost everybody has some kind of flaws. So why should I be obsessed with covering them?

I know my lashes are invisible without mascara because I am a blonde,I know my eyebrows are sparse and as soon as the summer really kicks in,they will be almost invisible due to the natural bleaching process of sun exposure.

Dolls, embrace your flaws! And the next time you see a uber hot girl that you envy for her flawless skin, just remember that under those layers of make up,she has a blemish or two and maybe her dark circles are worse than yours.

So here is a picture of my 7 o'clock morning face :
The naked truth

And this is how I look after slapping on about 10 different products.

Does anybody else feel like posting the naked truth about themselves?

  3. few years ago i was thinking that i look the best when i just wake up, with no make up and no hair done... now i don't ;-)
but i'm not ashamed by my naked face, it's mine and i would never change it (except the colour of my eyelashes, they are even brighter than yours) :-D
although i'm not comfortable showing it here ;-)

  4. Makeup is an accessories to me too! I don't like wearing makeup that much or have to wear it when I go out. I am not ashame of my naked face, it's not good nor bad.

  5. Your eyes look great without any makeup! I'm with you that makeup is just an accessory. I don't wear it daily. Believe it or not, 90% of the time I don't wear any makeup at all! And I feel more comfortable without any on! There is so much more that makes a person beautiful than just a pretty face! Thanks for sharing this with us!

  7. Thank you for your great responses dolls.
I think we all should remind each other, especially in the beauty community that make up is not so important.

  9. My naked truth would be too boring I think, I don't have so pretty eyes! <3 Of course there are days I wear no make up and I'm ok with it! It's an accessory for me, a way to express the artistic part of myself.

  11. I feel the same way about makeup.

I wear it because it's nice to wear and I like to look my best.

But I can go without, and I'm telling you, my skin isn't that great.

I might actually share my makeup-less face. I'll see if my cameraphone is good enough to show my flaws.
