Brezel Pretzels

Hai ^^
I can't get used to using the word pretzel for a thing that I've know as Brezel for my whole life.

Brezels are just lovely.
I love to do mine in a bun/roll shape,cuz they make pretty damn good sandwiches.

1 cup of warm water
1 package of dry yeast
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup pastry flour (soft flour)
4 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon salt

Make a nice dough from all these things and cover the dough with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for one and a half hour.

When the dough has risen you can shape it into pretzels or anything you like.
Then it is time to prepare the pretzel bath.
1 1/2 liters of water
1 tablespoon bicarbonate soda
2 tablespoons of baking soda
a big slotted spoon

Mix the water with the soda and bring it to a boil.
Take one of your pretzels and place it on a slotted spoon.
Dip it in the boiling water for 20-30 seconds.
Then place it on an oven tray with baking paper.
Sprinkle the pretzel with coarse salt.

Bake the pretzels at 200 degree celsius untill they got a nice brown colour.
Enjoy with butter or philadelphia cream cheese.
